VIP tiers let you give better earn rates to customers who hit a spend or order count you choose. Habit supports two or three tiers — enough to make status feel real without a complex rules engine.

How tiers work

  1. Open Tiers in Habit.
  2. Set a name, threshold (spend or orders), and earn multiplier for each tier.
  3. Save. Habit evaluates each customer against those thresholds and assigns the highest matching tier.
A 1.5x multiplier on a 1-point-per-dollar program means a $40 order earns 60 points.

What customers see

Signed-in customers see their current tier on the storefront widget and in the account rewards block, when those embeds are enabled.

Tips

  • Keep thresholds reachable. A first tier that takes years to hit will not change buying habits.
  • Use multipliers, not a second currency. All rewards still live on the same points ledger.
